| Project Description | The Northeastern NC Regional Economic Development Partnership and North Carolina's Northeast Economic Development Foundation will use this grant to leverage an additional $125,000 from the NC Industrial Recruitment Competitive Fund to locate a Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse Distribution Center in Northampton County. It is anticipated that 425 new permanent full-time jobs and 175 part-time permanent jobs will result in a $16 million annual payroll for the area. Funds will be used to provide job
training assistance for potential employees for Northampton and surrounding counties.
