This Golden L.E.A.F. grant to North Carolina's
Southeast Partnership will provide economic assistance to Robeson County in
recognition of the impact of the County's emergency expenditure of funds to
retain jobs at Alamac American Knits. The grant will be used to need to
meet continuing public services and public projects of the county that
otherwise would be threatened because of the effort to retain Alamac
American Knits as a viable employer in the county.
