Golden LEAF News - March 2010
Greetings!
The Golden LEAF Foundation has recently changed the deadline for its Economic Catalyst grants program from three times a year to accepting proposals year-round. Completed proposals will be presented to the Golden LEAF Foundation Board that are received no less than six weeks before a regularly scheduled meeting.
The Economic Catalyst program focuses on projects that will create jobs that might otherwise be located in another state but for Golden LEAF’s assistance. Grants are available for projects that include the creation of full-time equivalent positions that provide at least 50% of the cost of employee-only health insurance.
Proposals for Economic Catalyst grants must be coordinated with the N.C. Department of Commerce and the appropriate regional economic development partnership. Only governmental entities and 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations are eligible for funding.

Best,
