The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to Clay County Schools for a 1:1 technology initiative to support STEM as well as all other curricula. The project’s ultimate goal is to build upon its existing work to create ‘technology-rich’ learning environments and fully deploy a 1:1 device program in grades 3 through 12, with a ‘one-to-few’ implementation in grades K-2. The project plan calls for professional development to be provided to the entire school system’s faculty. Golden LEAF funds will be used for student devices, teacher devices and professional development.
