The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to create a website associated with the show that will act as a distribution hub for agribusiness and tourism opportunities. It will direct consumers to farmers’ markets, roadside stands, and restaurants to purchase locally grown ingredients, show what’s in season, highlight events and festivals, and provide other similar information. Out-of-state viewers will see links to purchase products and how to visit the area. Golden LEAF funds will be used for costs associated with the web site, including staff, design, content creation, travel, and marketing.
