The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to the Wilkes Adult Developmental Activity Program (ADAP), which provides meaningful employment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities who otherwise would be unable to work. Their clientele are unable to drive legally. Golden LEAF funds will be used for the purchase of two 15 passenger vans to replace two aging vans in order to provide ongoing job site transportation to program clients.
Any project more than a couple of years old may not reflect current Board priorities.
