Description:

This Golden LEAF grant will support an educational project on farms of 50 acres or less owned by African Americans and in schools by educating students about the farms and opportunities for farmers, supporting field trips to the farms, sponsoring quarterly meetings among farmers, students, and teachers, and recruiting and hiring 7 students to work as interns on the farms.
