Description:

The purpose of this Golden LEAF grant is to support the placement of five UNC-Chapel Hill graduates to serve as Carolina College Advising Corps members in ten high schools in Caldwell, Scotland, Warren and Robeson counties during the 2008-2009 school year. These advisors will serve designated high schools with the specific intention of increasing the college-going rate, particularly for first-generation college, underrepresented, and low-income students.
