Description:

Flooding from Hurricane Matthew destroyed the Cerro Gordo Town Hall. Due to mold, mildew, and unsafe conditions, the building has been condemned. Funding available from FEMA is inadequate to replace the building and mitigate future flooding. This Golden LEAF grant will fund design, engineering, and construction of a replacement town hall that will be elevated to avoid future flooding.
