Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to the North Carolina Agricultural Foundation for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences leadership program, which will train thirty emerging agricultural leaders over two years to explore new ideas in agriculture and develop contacts and skills, and provide participants an opportunity to learn about agricultural issues, public policy, and policy development. Program graduates are prepared to become advocates for agriculture at every level of government and influence agriculture in North Carolina by assuming leadership of community, commodity, and government boards.
