Description:

This project will extend efforts to demonstrate the agronomic and economic viability of energy crops and their potential for biofuel and power production. The project will also encourage commercial processing of the crops through meetings with partners such as potential canola crushers, biodiesel and ethanol producers, and power generators. The project will continue work on canola, switchgrass, and hulless barley supported by prior Golden LEAF funding, and begin work with other feedstocks, including Bermudagrass and timber.
