Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide continued support for The Golden LEAF Scholars Program at North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities. Funding for scholarships to the member schools will cover tuition and fees for the Spring 2007, Fall 2007, and Spring 2008 semesters. Eligible students must reside in a rural county in North Carolina that is designated by Golden LEAF as tobacco-dependent, and demonstrate financial need.
