Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to the Sandhills Community College Hoke Initiative for Advanced Manufacturing Skills (HIAMS) development program to create a comprehensive, skills-intensive, interactive program to teach advanced manufacturing equipment operation, installation, repair, and maintenance at the Raeford campus. The program will provide the capacity to deliver targeted and customized skills and enhancement training for new and incumbent workers. The initiative will also create an advanced manufacturing training partnership with the local high school.
