Description:

Hurricane Matthew caused major flooding in the Town of Tarboro’s M.A. Ray Center, Clark Park, and surrounding neighborhood. At the crest of flooding, water in Ray Center reached approximately 42 inches, destroying nearly everything in the facility including flooring, furniture, and equipment. Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funding will support repair and replacement costs not reimbursed by FEMA Public Assistance.
