Description:

Flooding from significant rain events, including Hurricane Matthew, causes Tyrrell County’s maintenance garage to be inaccessible. As a result, vehicles and other critical equipment not moved from the building prior to a storm remain inaccessible until waters recede. Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funding will support relocation of the County maintenance garage to county-owned land outside of the floodplain.
