The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to the Martin County Economic Development Commission which is working with the Marco Company to locate a manufacturing plant in a vacant building in Jamesville. The Marco Company is a Texas-based manufacturer of retail display products. The project will create 100 jobs in the county with an average annual salary of $24,792 plus health insurance within the next three years. The grant from Golden LEAF will pay for equipment to be leased to the company at a fair market rate.
Any project more than a couple of years old may not reflect current Board priorities.
