Description:

Flooding as a result of Hurricane Florence damaged facilities and dumped sand throughout the Nelva R. Albury Park. This park serves as the main public access area to the beach on the north side of Surf City. Golden LEAF Hurricane Florence Disaster Recovery grant funds will be used for parking lot and bathroom repairs and for replacement of the playground equipment, gazebo, and picnic tables damaged by flooding. FEMA Public Assistance may be available for this project.
