Flooding from Hurricane Matthew caused the Public Schools of Robeson County to lose approximately 94 vehicles. These vehicles served a variety of purposes including maintenance, driver’s education, student programs, and central office support. The storm also damaged or destroyed other equipment including generators and the print shop equipment. Golden LEAF Disaster Recovery Grant Program funding are to be used to repair or replace equipment where insurance, FEMA, and other funding are not sufficient.
Any project more than a couple of years old may not reflect current Board priorities.
