Description:

The purpose of this grant is to provide funding to the Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina (BGHNC) to help it expand services to serve approximately 115 additional children per year. BGHNC has received a grant of $447,065.89 from the Governor’s Crime Commission (GCC) for the project. The GCC grant includes a match requirement which the Golden LEAF grant will help satisfy. The project is eligible for continued support from GCC. In addition to serving 115 additional children, the project will create at least four new counselor positions at BGHNC.
