Description:

Golden LEAF funds will be used to purchase equipment to expand the truck driver training program at Sampson Community College. The College has identified strong demand from local employers for truck drivers, but cannot meet that demand with its current training capabilities. With Golden LEAF support, the College will be able to increase enrollment, potentially doubling its current capacity in this program. Golden LEAF support will leverage Jobs Now funding that the College has allocated to expand its truck driver training program.
