On February 20, 2023, the Golden LEAF Foundation welcomed Jordan Henderson as Operations Manager.
“We are excited for Jordan to join the Golden LEAF team,” said Scott T. Hamilton, Golden LEAF President, Chief Executive Officer. “Jordan’s skills and expertise will be essential in the operations of the Foundation.”
The Operations Manager position is responsible for managing day-to-day information technology and facility needs to ensure Golden LEAF’s systems support the staff’s work seamlessly, effectively, and efficiently.
Before joining the Foundation, Henderson worked in various management roles with Verizon Wireless. She graduated from Central Carolina Community College with an associate degree in Liberal Arts and Communications and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Henderson has volunteered with multiple organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, elementary schools, and the food bank. The volunteer work helped her realize a passion for assisting communities as a career.
Henderson previously lived in New Hampshire and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe with her family before settling in Fayetteville. Her fiancé Jon, two dogs, and two cats have recently relocated to Knightdale.
